I am nearly 5 days away from beginning my semester-long journey abroad! As a senior at Central Michigan University, I have the opportunity to end my undergraduate college experience by basking in the historical beauty left from the Renaissance ages in Florence, Italy!

Throughout my time at CMU, I have taken week long journeys through Alternative Breaks and immersed myself into communities in Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, and more! The program has been near and dear to my heart and has inspired my next steps to immerse myself into a new culture much different than the American Midwest (ranch is great and all, but give me the wine!).

I will be traveling to various cities and countries in Europe during my four months away from America and along the way I intend to write posts to document my travels. Although it will be a challenge to be away from home for so long, I am hoping to take the time and discover what I am capable of through this journey, here is where I will share a bit of that as well as photos/videos.

This will be my first travel experience out of the American borders and I can’t wait!
